The Geocities neighborhood design allowed users to place themselves in thematic groupings of
sites, where they would then be assigned a "block" (such as 2000) where their website would
be located. As Geocities grew, the 9,999-site-per-neighborhood limit was quickly surpassed
and Geocities created "suburbs" (really subdirectories) under each neighborhood that would
each hold 10,000 subdirectories.
